Precipitation and temperature data shown comes from CHELSA Climate Datasets.
The green line on the plot shows average Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) from MODIS/Terra, with values that may be cloud cover removed. The data is scaled logarithmically, with a baseline of 1000. I did not include a scale on the y axis for this because it is rather fuzzy, and the quantities don't directly translate to a measurable value on the ground.
